I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Bavaria Germany. My time in the outdoors was working in the fields. Even as a child I longed for adventure and travel. After winning a Green Card in the lottery I moved to Alaska in 2002 spending the last 20 years guiding tours in Alaska and Utah and other Western states such as Colorado and New Mexico.

I love the bigness, wide open spaces and varied landscapes of the Western US, but I also have a desire to travel abroad and reconnect with my European heritage and visit places I have traveled in my younger years in Europe and ride bikes in new places. I have visited Italy, Switzerland, Austria, France, Norway, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Morocco, Slovenia, Croatia and other countries in my 20’s and I have made some great connections riding bikes and guiding clients from all over the world since I moved to the US. I have worked in inbound tourism for 15 years and I am adding outbound trips this year to our offerings for women-only. I started organizing trips to Sardinia, Switzerland, Colorado with friends and found how much women enjoy riding bikes in new places together and share this experience, learn about a new culture, language and new foods.  I can’t wait to share one of our favorite trips with you!

Our offerings for 2024 will include a fat bike tour in Costa Rica, MTB in Slovenia/Croatia and MTB tour to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco in January 2025.
