About Me
Who am I? I am 47 years old and my home is in nature. I have spent my last 20 years guiding in the outdoors in Alaska and the Southwest and traveling the world. My passion is being outside and being out there and sharing what I have learned with others like me. I am looking for likeminded women who need a bit of help and coaching to find the right travel or outdoor experience on a bike.
Sharing good times in a beautiful place, exploring a new place, smelling the flowers, feeling the wind in your hair and sharing it with like minded people is what life is all about. It is empowering, satisfying and gives us inspiration and strength to move through life stronger.
Life is about discovery and growth.
A grew up in a rural area on a farm in Bavaria Germany. My interest in outdoor adventures and outdoor pursuits developed in my early childhood.
After winning a Green Card in the lottery in 2002 I moved to Alaska to pursue my dream of wilderness guiding and working in outdoor recreation.
The last 20 years my life, work and friendships have been shaped by riding and racing bikes on snow, in the mountains, jungle and desert and working as a wilderness guide in Alaska, paddling remote rivers with kayaks and rafts.
Since 2009 I have guided mountain bike tours in Southern Utah with a base near Hurricane Utah known for slick rock mesas like Gooseberry, Little Creek and Guacamole Mesa.
I started to join a local women’s shop ride in Southern Utah and learned how much fun women have on women only bike outings. And it went from there where I organized bike tours in Sardinia Italy, Switzerland, Colorado and Kokopelli Trail, Idaho Hot Springs Route and Colorado Trail with friends.
I have decided to add more tours and trips to our Utah Mountain Bike Guide business for women to ride bikes and see other parts of the world and share these experiences with women, experiencing another culture, another language and enjoy the local hospitality from the seat of a bicycle.
I also want to reconnect with my European roots after living abroad for 20 years and offer tours in Bavaria, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Italy and Portugal and Ireland.
I have also recently traveled to Peru, Costa Rica, Cuba and Africa and I have some trip ideas in those places in Morocco and South Africa and Namibia.
I have been meddling in other things and other kinds of guiding during and past Covid, but I realized that cycling, primarily mountain biking is where my heart is and what fuels my soul, especially when it is shared with others.
The world is a big place, and there is are many trails, landscapes, deserts, forests and mountains to be explored on a bike.

I have also done multi day cycling tours in Sardinia Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
Riding with women
I have found that women ride and learn differently in a women only group. Women share, ride, laugh and learn to ride in different ways and progress in mountain biking at their own level. I hope to ride many more places with like minded women that are not afraid to try something new or travel a new place with me.
